What I do and my philosophy:
Protech HVAC, LLC is the contracting company of John Rocheleau who provides design, installation and service work in Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating. Really, there are too many aspects of “HVAC” to innumerate, but it’s safe to say that if your needs involve indoor climate control, then it’s likely that I can offer what you need.
With an assistant, I produce fine HVACR systems with dedicated craftsmanship. I’ll travel virtually anywhere in New Hampshire and York County Maine for the “right” job and customer, among them building owners who recognize that true quality does not generally come at the lowest cost, but from years of HVAC trade mastery, a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s needs and attention to details – hallmarks of the qualified system designer and accurate job cost estimator.
My installations are thoughtfully designed and installed and include the best equipment and materials, including My own HVAC inventions. I have been in the trade since 1980 and in business for myself since 1988, save for a year and a half working for 2 other companies in between.
I closely evaluate the needs of my customers before creating a design and bring 30 years of service background to every installation, so as to ensure ease of service and efficiency in operation.
I have experience with many aspects of the HVACR trade, but I readily admit, I do not “know it all”. The most important thing that I know well is how to find solutions for my customers and clients, then masterfully employ them.
Top-notch HVAC Designs
The birthplace of an effective HVAC system is the design table. With in-depth experience across a broad spectrum of HVAC and Refrigeration, I incorporate serviceability, energy efficiency and exacting functionality into my designs that meet the needs and budget of my customers. A bad design will forever cost the system owner money throughout its consequentially shortened life. A great design will save the money that would otherwise be spent operating and servicing a poorly designed system.
Masterful Installations
A great design can only be transformed into a great installation if the ones doing the installing are not only skilled, but talented too. One needs a 3-D creative sense to affect both function and form. My systems are near-flawless, highly efficient and can be veritable works of mechanical art. Capable of building “museum-quality systems”, I realize there are less demanding tastes and more demanding budgets. In either case, I never sacrifice quality or cut corners for the sake of competitiveness or profitability – a fool’s errand. My systems installations are unconditionally guaranteed to work as intended.
Expert Service
When you call for service you will get me each and every time. I started as a service technician 31 years ago after finishing Tech School – that’s 3 decades of perpetually sharpening my troubleshooting skills. I am a licensed master oil and gas burner technician and am EPA certified to work responsibly (prevention of ozone depletion in the atmosphere) with refrigerant-based systems.
Staying current with ever changing technology is both essential and a challenge, which I embrace as long as there is a net positive to the environment and cost effectiveness. No one person in HVAC knows it all, including me, but, collectively, we are the “guru” in the trade, and this awareness and recognition is why I know who to go to to find answers for virtually any HVACR-related problem, then expertly apply the appropriate solution(s).
